Lidocaine
for V-tach:
Dog: Bolus 2mg/kg IV slowly (over 30 min)
- if effective, CRI @ 0.25-0.8 mg/kg/min
Cat: Bolus 0.25-0.5mg/kg IV slowly
- if effective, CRI @ 0.01-0.02 mg/kg/min
- Tx seizures with diazepam

for severe pulmonary edema:
Dog: 2-8 mg/kg IV q1-2h until resp rate/character improves
